French rosewood and ebonised inlaid two train mantle clock, dial and movement signed J. Valery à Paris. Movement has an outside count wheel, strikes on a bell and a silk suspension.

The case has a vertical glass slide in front of the dial within a stepped foliate inlaid case, white enamel dial, with roman numerals, minute tram lines and spade hands.
